We encourage applications from diverse backgrounds and disciplines. The program is open to artists of all generations, nationalities, and disciplines. Although we primarily support visual artists, we will consider applications from performing artists, writers, and filmmakers as well. Both emerging and established artists are encouraged to apply, but applicants must demonstrate a deep commitment to their practices.
We have two different programs, both have start and end dates and residents are expected to participate during the whole length.

Applications are accepted on a rolling basis and there is no fixed deadline. We recommend applying six months in advance to ensure your chosen dates are available and have enough time to apply for funding. However, opportunities may arise within a period of months if there is a sudden vacancy. You will receive an answer from us 2 weeks to 1 month after applying.
1. Fill out the application form. All the lines must be completed. If you don't have a website please add your Instagram account.
2. Send us a PDF with your CV, bio, artist's statement and 5 to 10 images of your work to firstname.lastname@example.org. Please do not send single images, the PDF must be attached to an email, we do not open external links, Google Drives Drop Boxes, etc.
Many international artists have access to funding through their cultural ministries or other programs. We will provide admitted artists an invitation letter to use for funding applications to cover the costs of the residency. View funding programs here. Artists may also choose to cover the cost of the residency themselves. View residency fees here.
