THE HOUSE

Built in 1991 on a historic plot known as Atlipa, meaning “always water” in Nahuatl, Casa Lü Sur offers a variety of accommodations designed for both individual artists and collaborative groups. Residents enjoy private studios, fully equipped kitchen, shared dining and living areas, laundry facilities, and ensuite bedrooms. Linens and towels are provided.

Main house: 

The main house features four distinct accommodations, each paired with a private studio and exhibition space:

Accommodation  A

Our largest room with a king-size bed, sofa bed, and TV. The private studio (24m²) is connected via a garden path and includes a functional fireplace.

Accommodation B

A large room with a full-size bed and a private bathroom (with bathtub). The studio (22m²) offers expansive windows and a picturesque garden view.

Accommodation C

Another large room with a full-size bed and private bathroom. The spacious studio (30m²) features its own fireplace.

Accommodation D

A medium-sized room with a full-size bed and private bathroom. The studio (15m²) offers generous wall space for exhibitions and projects.

La Casita

A private house ideal for artist duos, collectives, or residents with companions. It accommodates up to four people with a king-size bedroom and a living room sofa bed. Companions are welcome for the full program at no extra cost.

El Departamento 

A private apartment for up to two people, featuring a full-size bed and small kitchenette. Residents also have access to the main house’s kitchen, living room, and laundry facilities. Companions may stay for the duration of the program at no additional charge.
